Closer To Nature- Ladybird Laying Eggs
I have been really trying to get to grips with using my Iphone to take better photos, especially those that are of nature and plants.A couple of weeks ago we went on a foraging walk at our town’s River festival.We learnt how to identify the plants and trees that live along the river banks which took about an hour.
During the walk we learnt about the Linden or Lime tree and it’s usefulness for making tea and wine.The lower leaves can be harvested earlier on in the year and make a good come again crop.
Ladybird ladybird fly away home,
Your house in on fire and your children are gone,
All except one and that’s little Ann,
For she crept under the frying pan.
