What Comes After Monday?
As Mouse starts school in September I thought I would start checking on what she does and doesn’t know on basic stuff.What she doesn’t know will be the focus of our afternoons together at home and part of family activities during the Summer holidays.
On the way to school yesterday I asked Mouse what day it was.
“Monday!” she announced.
So I asked her what comes after Monday.
“Tuesday!”
And so the questions and answers continued until Thursday.
“Saturday!”
I explained Friday comes after Thursday then it’s Saturday.
“So what comes after Saturday?” I asked
“Tuesday!”
“No, Sunday.So what’s after Sunday?”
“16!”
Oh dear.
