Recipe Shed – Chutneys And Preserves

Recipe Shed

So last week I joined in the Recipe Shed linky hosted by Chronicles Of  The Reluctant Housedad for the first time. This week the Boy And Me is hosting the linky and the theme is Recipe Shed chutneys and  preserves. If you have never had a go at preserve making do give a go as you’ll be learning something new and you’ll be saving yourself heaps of money. It’s at all taxing as you think and you’ll preserving everything in sight once you’ve done your first batch.I have a few preserve recipes so I’ll list them so I don’t clog up the linky.

I’m putting the recipes up for slow cooker Christmas pudding and mincemeat on Sunday and lemon curd next week if your interested in seeing how they are made. All the above are going into Christmas food hampers for close family this year along with flavoured oils, hand-made soap, fudge, sugar-plum fairies and all sorts of yummy treats.Give a hamper this year and you’ll be saving yourself money and giving something that has some thought behind it.

Be sure to check out The Boy And Me for more Recipe Shed chutneys and preserves recipes and check out The Chronicles Of  The Reluctant Housedad for more Recipe Shed ideas.
