Happy 2nd Blogianniversary
2 years ago I sat at my the P.C. and wrote my first blog post.It was dire and even looked worse when several months later when I had discovered the art of inserting links. I decided to redo several earlier posts which I realise was totally unnecessary and an over kill.I bumbled along posting only 11 times in that first moth.A month later I joined Twitter and that’s when I started to follow lots of American and Canadian blogs but my blogging didn’t get any better until I joined British Mummy Bloggers.

I have since then joined several blog hops, added over 200+ blogs to my Google reader, and I have now a permanent guest post set up for breastfeeding mums to share their positive stories. I’m not the best blogger in the world.Been a bit shy on revealing the real me for a while, filling my blog posts with recipes and kids crafts and keeping to a schedule.I did for a few months move to Word Press because I envied the lovely themes and people were talking about stats, PR and plug ins.I hated it.It was interesting seeing how many people came to my blog and why but I wasn’t PR approachable and I had a few people come and save me because I broke my blog several times.And I never did learn how to install a plug in.It all became all a bit overwhelming and I found a few bloggers were becoming a bit up themselves and I didn’t want to be like that.So I moved back to Blogger.
| Me.Christmas 2009 So I returned to using Blogger oblivious to stats and I started to become a regular face around Twitter and commenting other people’s blogs.In 2010 my beloved Brian, my netbook had to be sent away to be repaired after my breakfast spilling over him.Due to a big fuck up I didn’t have him back for 6 very long weeks.Then my Twitter following started grow and so did my blog readership (slowly).Due the husband’s habits a few months were lost as we didn’t have the money to pay the broadband bill and now he’s gone I’m hoping that 2011 will be different in so many ways.
I have gone through a lot in the last few months and I know so many of you haven’t had a great 2010 and 2011 started off in a bad way.I hope that through blogging and tweeting we can together enrich all our lives, share and learn from our experiences and mistakes and be all the more stronger for it.I have said this before but so many of you are a bloody brilliant bunch and I look forward to seeing you for tweet ups and of Cyber Mummy 2011 .

I’ll be back doing recipes, crafts next week and I’ve a few blog hops to take part in so I’ll be mixing it up a bit not worrying too much about I must do this and get that done.I may even ramble a bit more.
